Inaguration of Technopark Kollam

It was on February 15, 2011 that Chief Minister Shri V S Achuthanandan inaugurated Trivandrum Technopark’s first spoke, the Technopark Kollam at Kundara. Speaking after christening the first building of the Kollam Technopark as Ashtamudi Towers, the CM said that the IT Park with a built-up area of 200,000 sq ft would provide employment to 10,000 professionals.
Manoj K, a resident of Kundara sent us this photograph taken on March 04, 2011. If this is the present status of Technopark Kollam, then which was the building that the CM inaugurated? When will it start functioning is anybody’s guess! This was the second partly constructed IT Park after Infopark Chertala to be inaugurated before the assembly elections were announced. We request our readers to keep sending us photographs to update the status of such projects.
